Early Stage Digital Health Investment Tool (EDIT)

The Early Stage Digital Health Investment Tool (EDIT) is an essential first step for countries that are in the early stages of assessing readiness for digital health interventions or that are developing a more coordinated strategic approach to digital health. EDIT is a tool designed to facilitate a discussion between a country and its stakeholders around the building blocks that need to be in place before investing in and implementing a digital health solution.

EDIT is a global good and is available here for free to all users. It has been included in the Navigator for Digital Health Capability Models and is also being used by a consortia of funders in support of rapid assessment of country capacity for COVID-19 related digital tools. In the spirit of constant improvement from the broad development community, we invite you to let us know how you’re using EDIT and to suggest improvements. We are actively looking for partners who are interested in adding equity and gender indicators to the tool.

For those who want to delve deeper into the data, Kati Collective is available to provide facilitation support (both remote and in person), a detailed report, and targeted recommendations that take into consideration previous assessments and reports. Please contact us at info@katicollective.com and we’ll set up at time to talk.
